Adriane Najma Wiltse, (b 1984) is a multidisciplinary artist, Sufi spiritual healer and engineer creating work in New York City. Inspired by their diverse background, a deep connection to nature and the spiritual path, Wiltse examines connections between the seen and unseen.
Wiltse’s process is layered with meditation, spiritual experiences of prayer and dhikr (a holy chanting) and play.
Adriane intends for the viewer to feel as though they could walk into or merge with the pieces; as through the colors are clouds, visions familiar, a kindred essence; ushering the viewer into a deeper relationship with their divine beauty and the ties which bind us as one.

With an engineering degree and seven years of industry experience, Adriane developed a unique perspective that combines systematic analysis with an eye for detail. This foundation proved invaluable as they embarked on a quest for deeper meaning and connection.
A serendipitous apprenticeship with world-renowned fine jeweler Ernesto Moreno reignited Adriane’s creative passion and opened their eyes to the power of creativity and expression. This experience marked the beginning of Adriane’s exploration into the alchemical realm, leading them to meditation, study flower essences, gemstones and body-felt sense practices.
While on a personal journey to overcome generation wounding, Adriane’s spiritual depth accelerated during the pandemic, culminating in their dedication to the Sufi path. As a certified spiritual healing practitioner and teacher of the Shadilliyya Sufi Order, Adriane now guides others with compassion and understanding, drawing from their own transformative experiences.
The name Najma, bestowed upon Adriane by their teacher Dr. Ibrahim Jaffe, encapsulates their essence and mission. Meaning “star” or “light from a distant star,” it reflects Adriane’s role in illuminating the path for others to discover their inner beauty and see it mirrored in the world around them.
